Two events in Massachusetts this week!

Tonight, at 6PM, I’ll be at the Hilton Center in Salisbury, MA. We’ll be discussing The Lace Reader, and I’ll also be there to sign books and read an excerpt from The Map of True Places. A little bit of everything! Thanks to the Salisbury Public Library for inviting me.

Then, on Friday, June 25th, I’ll be at the Dennis Public Library in Dennis Port, MA for their Author’s Friday series from 2-3PM. I’ll be talking about my journey as a writer and about The Map of True Places.

    I am almost finished reading The Lace Reader and it is breathtaking! I can’t wait to read the sequel, which I sincerely hope you are working on. I vote for “Bone Lace” as the title! In the meantime, I am going to read The Map of True Places. You are my favorite new author!! Please keep these amazing novels coming, they truly are enchanting.

    Thank you so much, Hildy! There are a few characters in The Map of True Places that you will recognize from The Lace Reader. My third book is not the sequel, it is a new story altogether. But my fourth book will return to the characters in The Lace Reader fifteen years later. It will also tie the characters from The Map of True Places, thereby bringing the stories together.
